Many Scars Norfolk

We are an independent, friendly, family run support group, run for people with MS by people with MS. We host Social events from small morning or afternoon meetings at various locations around Norfolk, to family picnics and days out, we are happy to go wherever the majority of our members want and suggestions are always welcome.

Joining In

The easiest way is to drop by our FaceBook Group Page and request to join. However you can also join us in the real world at one of our monthly events. Currently the majority of these events are get togethers at various venues around Norfolk.

A Special Thank You

Funding is very important issue for us as a group, it allows us to arrange get togethers for our members and families and to provide a myriad of other support items. We would like to thank all of those people that are helping to boost our funds through our Co-op Community Fund.

To Paul Bassham Charitable Trust.

I am writing on behalf of the Many Scars Admin. Team.

We would like to say a massive thank you for the generous donation of 500 to our organisation.

This will make a huge difference to us in continuing to provide information and support to new and existing members. We are now in the process of updating our flyers by having someone (who himself has MS) design some new, more informative and friendlier looking flyers, for the MS nurses to give to newly diagnosed people. We are also having some designs made to put on T-Shirts and other items for us to sell at our events, in order to continue promoting Many Scars, raise awareness, and raise more funds ourselves.

Our next aim is to organise an educational event with Digesting Science and to be able to generate enough funds to arrange a social event at little or no cost to participants at the end of next year.

(Digesting Science events aim to empower and equip young people with the knowledge to deal with issues of having a parent with MS. The activities can be used at home by one family or as a group event)

Kind regards

Lynne Sanchez
